From Spirit of Chapel Ash member. Thanks to all the organisers and helpers, I think you may have noticed that we enjoyed ourselves. We'll probably be back in bigger numbers to retain our best turnout title. Hope some of you are able to make it to Howling VIII - remember August 15-17th - check us out at Spiritofchapelash.com Thanks again

Hi to all who attended the 105 year celerbration at minehead. I own a caravan there and was lucky enough to be there for that weekend with my 4 children. As we are not biker people when we were told that it was a harley weekend we thought o no. But we were pleasently surprised what a great bunch of people very friendly and lots were willing to let our kids sit on there bikes and have pictures taken It was a shame about the weather but never the less spirts were high and a good turn out for the parade. Also a great firework display.I did notice a lot of rainy city HOGS but at that time i did not know what they were until a guy from the sherwood chapter told me about them i must say me and the family had a great time and it was great to be there at that weekend with lots of great bikers. It made me want to become a harley owner good luck to you all in the future safe riding From Steve & Family

Thanks to all members who braved the changeable weather to come to see us on Sunday. We felt really honoured that you took the trouble. Nice to see all ouir old friends and the bikes as well. If Harley had made old boat engines then our 1946 Kelvin would be a contender. For more info of our canal trip please visit our blog at http://brianandsuesukcanaltour.blogspot.com Best wishes to all at Rainy Cty from Brian and Sue

A big hello from the US to all members of Rainy City from former members Brian and Sue Badminton (aka Wallace and Gromit). We left the club a few years ago as living on a canal boat in the summer and working overseas in the winter precluded riding the bike. This winter we have gone to the US, shipped the bike across (not to return), and have set up a touring base in a mobile home and trailer. We have already learned a lot about registering and insuring vehicles when you are not a US citizen in the state of Georgia and are in a position of advising the procedures to anyone who wants to do the same thing. It’s frustrating but not impossible. We obtained the tags for all 3 vehicles today. To see what we are up too you can find an online diary (aka a blog) at www.brianandsuesamericantour.blogspot.com. Keep up the good work in the club and best wishes to all.

Hi Jack an' Ken, hope your bike kept going, remember we were in the bike park of Big D's Biker Bar/Cafe. Ian gave you a hand with your bike. Big D's is where we have our club meets every Tuesday, had a look round your web site very interesting, lots to read and look at, excellent site, will drop in again. If you go on to our web site you could add a link and vice versa it's www.bridgeratsmcc.com or if you want a look at where we are, go on to www.emblembikersmag.com and link in to Big D's, you get to have a look round the place. Hope you can pop in some time, nice meeting you and hope to see you again sometime. Gez 'n' Ian of the Bridge Rats MCC.

Hi boys and girls. it was my first time at rainy daze and it was great good fun and smashing people. And it was nice to see some of you again at Baildon unfortunately my uncle how started the rally with just a few friends in 1977 could not be there this year. But I did give him a ring and get him off his lilo in Spain were he lives now and told him there was a brilliant turn out and every thing was going well. So farewell for now hope to see some of you at Hart and Soul Rik Lawrence better known as Pips nephew If your wondering still who I am think yellow (Street Rod)

Thanks to all for inviting us to trade at your "very well organised" "Rainy Daze 3" what a most enjoyable event with an exceptional group of people, you Harley - biker folk never cease to amaze us, its like a HUGE family of lovely people from various backgrounds all taking care of each other. The music was excellent, the bikes were breathtaking, the people were of the best sort! Good luck with "Rainy Daze 4" (to anyone who has not attended this event - add it to your 2007 diary you will not be disappointed, what a lovely bunch of genuine people) we hope to see you all in 2007. A special thanks to Mal who never looks stressed but buzzes about making sure everyone is happy... she's a gem. Ride safely you guys and take cares Debs, John, Megan & (tia) Aromamassein UK
