Gawsworth Jesters Charity Ride Out
The Gawsworth Jesters hold a charity ride out every year, I've missed the last couple of years unfortunately even though it's on my doorstep. However this year I was determined to go, its a £5 donation and this years charity was Prostate Cancer. The ride like the club is open to any make of bike. It was about 80 miles from the meeting point in Congleton taking in Kettleshulme, Goyt Valley Whaley Bridge, Chapel-en- le frith to Winnats pass onto Chesterfield stopping at a cafe for a coffee then back via Ashford in the Water, Taddington, Harper Hill & Buxton.
However just as we were about to set off I had a call for a rescue - a flat tyre at Morrisons....so yet again I couldn't go - so close but so far. I did take these couple of pictures at the start.
