In Chris Mac’s absence, Kev ran the meeting and began by welcoming the following NEW MEMBERS:
David Edwell, Andrew Reynolds, Trevor Savage, Glynn Wright, Faye Cassidy, Maggie Dunbavin, Kate Edwell, Sandra Rothwell, Julia Wright. Nigel Winstanley.
Kev also discussed use of the new EVENT REGISTER and urged members to insert their names when they intended to join ride-outs, as at the last ride, no-one registered, but 5 bikes turned up. Had Barry not attended due to no response, there would have been no ride-out!

He also appealed for volunteers to lead the remaining ride-outs currently without leaders, asking them to contact Barry Dunnett directly.
He also mentioned that as KC, Ken Vickery, Mal Hyslop, Jon Dailey and Roger Barlow would be riding Route 66 next month, Chris Mac would be running the meeting as usual, but also presenting his MUSIC QUIZ and urged members to attend.
Jon Dailey revealed the name for the new MEMBERS CASH DRAW would be ‘IZIT ME? You Attend – We Spend’, which was suggested by Gill Cox and Bill Malley. Both of whom will receive a prize when the draw is launched at the June meeting.
Gill Cox then presented the first of our new SUMMER SOCIAL events flyer for a visit to BELLE VUE SPEEDWAY. We also discussed the possibility of a trip to JODRELL BANK as another event for the Summer Socials’ calendar.
